Learning occurs through hands-on games or activities during lessons and learning centers time.

Eg. Children playing with blocks to learn the properties of shapes.

Abundance of opportunity for self-exploration to discover and make connections of their learning.

Eg. As they play with the different shaped blocks, they discover that combining a large circle and a eight rectangles can make a spider.

Create opportunities for children to acquire understanding, predict and apply.

Eg. As they have acquire some level of understanding, they can now gauge which shapes is best to build or make an object.

ENGAGE

Learning is not always individual but through engagement, learning can be cooperative.

Eg. As they discover the usage of different shapes, they will share with their peers and build other things together using different shapes.
